War Room Prayer Boards - A Women's Crafting Event
Ladies, we hope to see you on July 29th from 5:00-7:00pm in the Chat Room for a fun evening of prayer, crafts, and Christian sisterhood.
We'll talk about preparing our "War Rooms" with powerful and Spirit-led prayer, and then we'll gather for light snacks and creating prayer boards. You do not have to be an artist to join us, you simply need to be a woman who wants to be intentional in her prayer life.
This is a great event for a group of friends, neighbors, or your small group, so please make sure to share the link with the ladies you know.
The event is on July 29th, and we ask you and your friends register by July 27th to help with our planning. The $20 fee covers the cost of all supplies and a light snack. You can register here.
Summer Bible Study: Created to Commune - A Study on Spiritual Discipline
Ladies, grab your favorite sparkly water cup, comfy clothes, and sunglasses, and join us for a summer of studying the Bible and God’s truths alongside good friends as we navigate the heat of another Houston summer. We will meet on Wednesday mornings from 9:30-11:00 in the Chat Room on June 17 and 24; July 1, 8, 15, and 29; and August 5 and 12 for our Created to Commune Bible study. This exciting eight-session study will remind us of who we are and whose we are. Rachel Joy created this study to help remind us that we are not alone and we were created for communion with our loving and living God.
This study is designed to remind us of practical living through the spiritual disciplines so that we might help multiply and cultivate the Kingdom of God in the world around us. There is no cost for the Created to Commune study, but please register here so we can make sure to prepare enough materials.
Women's Book Study: 40 Verses to Ignite Your Faith
Ladies, you are invited to join us for a summer of diving into some unexpected passages of Scripture. We are going to use Laurie Short's book 40 Verses to Ignite Your Faith to look at "in between" verses that provide wisdom, guidance, and encouragement. During our eight weeks together, we will read a wide variety of passages and discuss God's timing, not worrying about the future, and holding onto faith when things look dark. As we spend time in Word, prayer, and discussion, we'll learn to navigate the challenges that cross our paths, breathing new life and fresh air into our spirits and igniting our faith.
